With kids you won't have as much time to drive the 2nd car anyways. Get one 4 door performer (M3/M5) and call it a day.

Edit - I misread your post, but I'd still go M3/M5 and have the option for the extra space.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

The M4 is on my list as well actually, I just oversimplified the poll to stir up a little Ford versus Chevy banter on a slow news day.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, everything I've read about that flat-plane crank 5.2L engine in the GT350, but everywhere else, the C7 is going to be a superior car/platform. Factor in the ability to get discounts now on the C7 and unlikely to get any discounts for the GT350 for a while would make it an easy decision for me to go C7 IMHO.

GT350. I see C7 vettes everywhere and typically driven by old men and women doing 10 under the speed limit. You don't, and won't, see many GT350 mustangs running around.
Resale will be better on the GT350.

I agree with above poster that corvettes just feel cheap, and that's not surprising because every GM vehicle I've been in has felt cheap.

The first year GT350 is expected to be a rattle trap from unexpected vibrations from the flat plane crank. Also, lots of dealerships are charging "market adjustments".

You might also drive the ATS-V. Quick/fun little car and leases are pretty attractive thanks to how well the base car has done.

Vipers are cool, but I haven't seen any in the mid-low 70s on a used Gen V. All upper 70s or 80s (for base cars, let alone GTS or T/A).
Huh? The whole premise of the flat plane crank is it requires less balancing than a cross plane and therefore able to rev to the moon. Who expects the GT350 to be a rattle trap?

Also, every GM vehicle is a rattle trap within the first 2 years (if they are driven as a daily) because of the cheap interior.

My 2015 Mustang is a rattle trap compared to the C7 that I drove FYI

I saw it on facebook this morning (from some magazine) and passed it along. Perhaps it's the higher RPMs that cause the vibration? I don't really know, but felt compelled to share it with a friend who is considering buying one.

I've had two GM vehicles that were no worse than my old Mustangs as far as rattles go (none were bad).

                        EDIT: Tree'd by Mach1, haha.

I can't make a decision until I can demo one of each for a week.

The exoticness of the new 5.2, and the relative exclusivity of the GT350 are leaning me to the side of the Shelby. But the relative simplicity, and proven formula of the Vette pull me in that direction too.

I would be happy with either.
