I can see bicycles, particularly if ridden on the roadway, since they have to obey traffic laws.. I think an electric wheelchair is a bit of a stretch and public intox would be more appropriate.

Dude was not on a roadway, he was on a pedestrian bridge.

You don't drive around Plano on the weekends do you?
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

There will never be a law passed that will prevent the PDs from "Just doing their jobs".
Leah had an issue like that with Keller PD in her teens.. I don't remember all of the details but they wrote her tickets well into the double digits for every minor thing and some made-up stuff. Not during one stop mind you, but multiple over a number of months. In at least one instance she was stopped, written a couple tickets, then as she was pulling away was stopped again and written more. Apparently the officer in question ended up getting shit-canned over it.

I stay as far away from that side of town as I can, unless absolutely necessary.

But we get a few dickhead wannabe road racers here in Las Colinas from time to time. They want to have the right to be on the road (often blocking cars from getting even close to the speed limit) then they will blow through stop signs, or cruise through an intersection in the crosswalk, when convenient for them.

            Agree with this...

They ride the back roads up here in some areas there are signs saying no bikes too. One day one is going to get plowed over. Somewhat narrow roads, with a lot of pot holes, not level and so on. They are out there on their road bikes going through blind turns with speed limits of 55....doing less than 20 and so on.

I agree, there should be a place to ride those bikes. However, I don't think some back roads and congested roads are the answer. Admittedly though, I'm a lot more patient with folks using a bike to get to a store, work and so on. Just the folks out there for sport that can be annoying day after day after day (copy paste 30 times).

I got stopped in a Walmart, in a shopping cart while posing like Napoleon on leave from Korea. Sheriff thought I was drunk and threatened to give me a DUI. I was a passenger, IN the cart.
