    rubbing compound and a rag

    and/or black sharpie

we've turned in some fucked up rentals in the past with no issues... like severely curbed wheels, etc. (my dad and wife driving, not me, obv)

      Done.

Looks like it's just a clearcoat that's been scuffed up.

Drive in, rent it again for another day, get the insurance and then return it as is.

No denting, but definitely well into the metal finger nail definitely catches both

youd be surprised what comes off. I had a 80 year old woman turn into me and what was estimated $800, I fixed myself for 30 bucks with generic car scratch remover.

Only the primary impact didn't come out. It was about 4 feet worth of dragging her little compact ass with my old 97 tank.

rub it out, anything else can be fudged with dark wax.

I would not say shit about it honestly. A few years ago I had a rental on vacation and will I was there they broke into the damn car at the hotel and stole some shit in the back seat and fucked up the outside door handle and scratched the door pretty good. When I dropped it off I told them about it and the guy could give 2 shits less about it and said don't worry. This was Hertz I think, just buff it out and turn that junk it.....
