  • Confrontation - Do you avoid it ?

Im at the post office today, ( which i despise this location, but it was on the way) and usually i come in with my postage ready. Address filled out, packaged etc.. Today as a spur of the moment delivery ( sending my lil brother a shirt).

I go in, get my box, label and begin to fill out address.. None of the pens work.
Im second in line, i know if i go look for a pen im going to lose my spot. I take my chances. Sure enough, i lost my spot. My Fault. Turns out another lady wasnt prepared either. She had to do the same thing i did, so she lost her spot. So i thought, she jumped back into her initial spot, she went from # 9 in line, to # 3 .....

    Would you say something ?

I did, i asked her if she was just going to cut? She replied with "this is my spot!"

Then , she told me to get a life LOL !!

( no she wasnt hot, she looked like a 60 ish year old gypsy. ...)

Now , no one in the line said anything , except me. We are all in a hurry on our lunch break..

How many here would have called her out ?

I will always follow the rules to avoid being called out and embarrassed, at the same token, i have no issues calling someone out.....

I would have called her out and immediately proceeded to tell her to get fucked after she gave me lip.

At the PO if you aren't ready to mail you lose your spot. That lady should have went to the back. I have filled out postage in line before but it was a long line to start with and I had plenty of time. She sounds like a cunt.

sometimes creating a confrontation makes your day worse than it may already be. you just have to let it slide sometimes.

Pick your battles to make drama in your life.

Unfortunately my wife has been learning this the hard way.

I chilled a lot over the yeras, especially when I started daily carry. Let the little stuff go so things do not escalate.

Maybe she asked the person behind her to hold her spot. Anyways, there are many things in life you just have to let go of. This is one of them.

You made eye contact with a smirk on your face when this happened right?

I believe in karma 100%. That's why I'm an asshole to everyone. I assume they deserved it.

I avoid confrontation whenever possible. The build up switch in my head is damaged so I'm either cool or beating someone with a stuffed mackerel. Getting pissed just gives me a migraine.

I try to, but find that it's a lot easier when my wife or kid are around. I just figure bitching at someone about a parking spot isn't worth coming out to slashed tires, or pissing someone off in my car then them doing something to retaliate while my wife is driving or when my kiddo is in the car. If I where the only one I had to worry about, I'd probably be in people's faces a lot more. So it's a good thing they're here, I can't fight worth shit.

I try to avoid confrontation, but my Aries shows far too often despite that effort
