I'm around this age as many of you and honestly I'm as happy now as I can remember being. Granted most years in my 20s are quite fuzzy.

I watched a TED talk about this over the weekend, how the spirit never ages, but the body obviously does but affords new possibilities. All we really ever lose is certain freedoms as we get older.

I'm 39 this month as well, and far from feeling like its "over." If you feel like you haven't done enough, then get to steppin, 40 is just a number.
