    After 10 years at my current job...

    I turned in my resignation today. It was a happy, and sad occasion. Being here 10 years (10 years Saturday actually!), I was certainly comfortable in my job, and did it well, but looking forward to a bunch of new challenges, and HUGE pay increase compared to here. Feels like a weight has been lifted, but I'll continue to work until my last day, I won't be a slacker!

    New gig I'll be on lockdown, no internet shit at all (security is a lot tighter) so no surfing here.

      That's great Rob. You probably will miss nothing, well the trolls like Gasser and Nay-Nay but other than that nothing to see here....

          That it is but it's gotten slow here as well. Good luck on the new job, don't think I could work without some free internet down time but hope it works out for you.

                I've dropped Facebook and started being more active here.

                Congrats on the updgrade! I took a month off between jobs, old job had to pay me out 600 hours of vacation because I was there 13 years and only took 2 weeks off a year

                      Yup, staying in the same house. Will work in Las Colinas now (well Nov. 2), instead of Arlington. Almost the same distance, but more traffic.

                      We don't acrue vacation, or I would have a ton, we get 4 weeks a year! I already had the 3rd week of Oct. off to use up more vacation days, just luck! I'll loose a couple days is it, no biggie.

                      Ha ha, it was around the same time, but I was sick of all the religious crap posted, and all the other BS on FB, so just dropped off. Don't miss it at all. I check on here, and a Bronco's board, that's it for me.

                      Now it's time for foosball! They are waiting for me, LOL.
