  • Chris Mintz Oregon hero

I've never given to gofund me because most of the ones I've seen want you to help them pay off cc debt or some other crap, but this dude sacrificed his body to protect his fellow students. https://www.gofundme.com/s75ge9y4

Yesterday morning when I donated it was around 1xx,xxx. This dude deserves every penny. Both legs broke and he has a young son. Not sure, but he may be a single father.

He deserves the money because he is going to get tired of every retard on Facebook trying to call him or pat him on the back in some way. Seriously, the lives of these social media generated heroes are fucking ruined in a lot of cases.

I'd like to know which story is true. Did he barricade a door and get shot 5 times through the door or charge the shooter resulting in being shot 7 times?

The pro-gun Oregon sheriff involved in the investigation into the mass shooting at Umpqua Community College is not afraid to express his opinion — no matter how outrageous it may be. Douglas …

It also says he's a single father. He is single AND a father, but it looked like on his FB time line that he hardly ever has the kid. One of his posts was something like "Great, the one time I have my kid and he's sick."

Another was something like "I really want to be a father now. Not to take anything away from the one I already have, but be a father to a kid all to my own."

Those weren't exact quotes, but it's something like we read earlier. He was getting called on it and has adjusted his FB page accordingly from what I heard.

The media needs a hero out of this, I guess.

It isn't that he just survived. He made the effort to block this jackwad's entry into the classroom and took seven bullets in the process.
