Meh, they've proven that they can make quirky cars that rich people like already. I'm curious to see how the model 3 will perform as an electric car for the avg middle class person and if they'll be able to keep up with demand if it became a hit.

Well, for the most part they did in the Model S, though it's still a big sedan. Amazing to drive though.

The next car planned is small and affordable ($35K). After that, I'd love to see them do an Aston Martin Vantage style coupe, but that'd be years away.

Same. If they can out perform, style and range something like the Leaf and keep up with production demand, that's gonna be a big damn deal.

Meh, for the money I'd rather have the larger, and almost as powerful X6. The 250 mile range makes for a more than comfortable commuter/around town car, but not really enough for most road trips. Even here in Cali those battery change stations aren't near as prevalent as they need to be.

Technology and infrastructure isn't there yet to allow for any electric car to be a good road tripper. Still, for most uses, these things are pretty outstanding. I haven't driven an X6, but I have driven a base model S and it was one of the best driving cars I've ever experienced.

Who gives a shit about the outside of the car? I'd want the inside to be nice if it was mine. Then again, I don't buy shit to impress other people. I buy shit to impress myself.
