  • Nitto DR's and cold weather

So what are y'all with Nitto Drag radials doing during this cold weather? Im sure some people have them on their daily drivers. Supposedly cold weather below 32 degrees can cause catastrophic failure.

here is the warning from nitto if your interested:

I had them on my GT all year round. Good thing I had a back up vehicle.

i drove to work and the gym and everywhere in 315-35-17 nitto drags at 16 psi but took a while at the most i got to 25mph but that was only if there was wide concrete grooves through the ice. if i couldn't see the road it was 10mph MAYBE 15. spinning in 4th while idle driving is not fun lol.

Who drives one with a tag ending in m214? I seem to remember some kid bitching about the motorcycle cops while driving like an old lady being innocently pulled over. Maybe the fishtailing in and out of traffic was an oversight. And scrub off your track shoe polish.

3.27 gears + 305 nitto DRs + my fat ass and my GTOs fat ass = traction in all but icy conditions

Though I did switch to a different wheel/tire set up recently and bought a big fucking truck. Fuck driving a built twin turbo car as a DD anymore

Ive been throwing around the idea of putting some 3.27s in my car because of the steep 1-2 gear in the trans

My mt et streets did pretty damn good in the ice and snow. I was pleasantly surprised.
