I personally am not worried about bacteria on the chicken itself though(considering salmonella starts to die off around 160F or so).
Just be careful afterwards because bacteria can grow once prepared as well.

I thought salmonella died off at 145.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

You and I both know that heat is what kills salmonella point blank.
Yes, CDC says you should cook chicken to 165, but a) there are other factors at play and b) they're going overboard. Like when I tell someone something needs to be done daily. It doesn't necessarily need to be done daily, but I tell them daily hoping it gets done once a week.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
