  • new car gas milage

does this sound right to you guys, for some reason im thinking the kia i got my lady last year is drinking too much gas

i had 1/4 of gas when i left my house in oak cliff off of 35 and illinois, i went to eat lunch with her off 35 and regal row and that took half of the 1/4 of gas, i then drive to duncanville and that drinks up the rest of the gas.... shit is it the car or what??? im not speeding, i was cruising at 70mph... also i can be sitting in the car with the car on and the defrost on and i can see the gas needle going down

    I'm not impressed by my 05 Spectra's mileage but I don't care.

I have got a best of 31mpg once though and that's perfectly fine, but usually 25-28 typically.

Well, a qtr tank in a truck is a lot more gas than a Kia, but what is the MPG? How many miles did you drive since the last full tank and how many gallons did it take to fill back up?

$20 is around 6 gallons, times 25-ish miles per gallon, less in the city. It sounds about sounds about right.

yup my 07 typically gets 29 no matter the type of driving. If there is any highway in there it is usually at 70-75
