I guess those work for some people.
I just consider it a luck of the draw that I got a warning/discussion, and go right back to what I was doing the next day or so.

There's a posibly fee/penalty, and I know there is, when I do stupid shit. Getting mad I got caught doesn't make the cop the bad guy all of a sudden.

I give a lot of warnings and I am sure people get it, that it could have cost them a lot of money. With out the chance of a fine where is the incentive to do right? On the flip side to that I believe the fee's and costs have gotten ridiculous. Then on top of that the state wants to double dip with surcharges. Lower the fee's and fines and get rid of surcharges. They are really only hurting the people that can't afford to pay anyways. I think the max tickets you should be able to wright is one or two, not four or five or some stupid shit. I mean red light tickets are 75.00, and that's enough to discourage people from running them. That's another one that aggravates me. My buddy got one the other day. That fucking light in Cedar Hill went from green to red in about half a second. So the lights start doing what they are supposed to and the revenue is not enough so they shorten the times. Total horse shit.

What irritates me is the fact that even if you take defensive driving the court fee is $115.10 to just file some paper work and never see a judge and my local JP does not take credit card, check or make change. So you have to find out what amount is and bring exact change. If it didn't effect your insurance or this points deal I would be happy to pay the $165 the ticket was and go on about my day.
