Turned cnn on this morning and of course they are busy laughing about clinton and sanders. Didn't see anything there about it being 9/11.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

They usually cover more actual news than the other major networks between their reporters on screen and the bottom scrolling text. Every time I turn on fox it is a bunch of unimportant bullshit, and msnbc is so far left it is rediculous. Surprisngly, cnn is usually a bit more balanced. Don't misunderstand me though, they all suck, cnn just seems to suck a bit less usually.

I've taken the opportunity over the years to visit all three Memorials. The impact that they have is profound and lasting. I was particularly moved at the Flight 93 Memorial. A plane full of strangers, with all of the differences that seemingly divide us, who came together and did something.

Each Memorial is very well done, and each one brings the memories of those moments so close to the surface that they become tangible.

In order of occurrence on that day:

                      World Trade Center -

Walking around the footprints brings a scale that you can't visualize any other way. I don't care how much of man you are.....at some point, this site will draw tears.

                      The Pentagon -

A sobering reminder that no fortress is impenetrable. This Memorial has a feel similar to the Oklahoma City Memorial.

                      Somerset, PA -

This is as close to the impact site as you can get. They have placed a boulder at the point of impact, and the Memorial wall is in line with the flight path.

That's awesome. I don't know if I could do that. I get very unsettling feeling in places like that. Complete cold chills in the middle of July at the Alamo and OKC memorial.

We should all take note of Flight 93 and how to stand up for ourselves and this nation. God speed to everyone affected by that day. I remember it well.
