I'll never buy from rooms 2 go with the lack of quality they produce and the ridiculous shipping prices you HAVE to pay. What's funny is I had a guy at work tell me the same thing about them and there stupid shipping policy. So I tried to tell my brother in law about it but they had already purchased their set. They charge you the $300 shipping fee regardless if you pick it up or not. They didn't have that setup in stock local but had it in San Antonio and the warehouse in Katy, but you still had to pay the shipping fee even if he had driven out there to pick the Damn thing up. Needless to say he has been in your exact position and has had them come out and install 3 different setups and neither has lined up. It may be the same as yours.

I think we got our bedroom setup from Star furniture and have been more than happy with the quality.

This is why we bought all our furniture for our house from a small local shop. Good quality stuff, and the prices were not really too much higher than he big box stores where you still get hit with shipping fees. Had an issue with the table legs not fitting and the owner (who is also the mayor) came over himself to resolve the problem. Stand up service and I won't buy from amywhere else. Definitely best to find a place like that if you can.

Rooms 2 Go is terrible. You should have googled their reviews online. They are an absolute scam. I dealt with them and got screwed as well. The delivery idiots left my street full off packing materials... It was embarrassing. These morons pissed in a gatorade bottle and left it outside the drivers door in my neighbors yard. Rooms 2 go is trash all the way around.

        Classy.

You all do realize its not R2G that actually builds the furniture right? Like with most any product, there is a huge disconnect between the sales side and the actual manufacturer. The sales side will keep ordering thinking it is a fluke/quality issue, while actually a jig or spec somewhere is incorrect and no one at the manufacturing level is getting the message of the problem so it can be corrected. Someone, somewhere, on one end or the other, doesn't know how to communicate this, or just doesn't care. You can apply this to any industry.

It looks like that's the way it's made. I dont expect furniture from R2G to be high end, or even more than just mediocre furniture. Ive bought a lot from them, I just have more reasonable expectations I guess.

BTW, if you cant talk them out of the shipping charge plus free delivery you are doing it wrong.

Whats causing it. It may be as simple as moving a few brackets and re-drilling some holes....I know you shouldn't have to do it, especially for how much it cost but it may be a simple solution

Not as easy to do. The head and foot board have holes cut into them with metal brackets inside that the sides hook into. No way to shim or re-drill anything to get it to line up. It's a manufactues defect on all of them. It is no longer available for sale in the store or on the web site.
