With mustang sales up 70% from last year and all the "new mustang" posts, I got curious about the mustang to DFWmustangers ratio on the board right now. It seems a ton of us have jumped into new cars here lately.

Also, don't sales usually dip down the year before a new drastic redesign is released? Saying it's 70% up, while true, doesn't show the whole picture. I'm sure a lot of people didn't buy a '14 because they were waiting on a '15.

Time is on my side. This happens every time a car gets redesigned; everybody freaks out. Happened in 94. Happened in 99. Happened in 05 and 2010 too. 2 years from now a big chunk of the board will have this new body style and the consensus will have shifted.

Except it didn't take 2 years.

12 gt and while I wasn't looking for one when I picked mine up it is an amazing car and really makes me want a 15 now.

I admit freely I hated the 15 when it came out. It took nearly a year for me to like it. Well actually it took me driving one to like it.

it seems the moment I declare I don't like a new mustang I am cursing myself to buy one. When the 10 came out I said I hated the rear end, then I bought one, and the 15 comes out.. again I hate the rear end. The only one I liked right away was the 05, and I never bought one.
