I will never get married again after this one. Fuck bringing on a 50% partner into your business when they've investing nothing, have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Dumb business decision. Plain and simple. If she loves you she won't need a legal binding contract to be with you.

It's rarely financially beneficial for a man to get married. Now I don't disagree with marrying young and building a family and business together, but once you've been married and had your family and are paying child support for the first marriage...and have a solid career going, it's not very smart to get married without some type of financial protection/pre-nup.

Going back thru my old posts looking for something and just thought I'd update. Married, new home (we remodeled together), running a business (She helps me with), we both have new jobs, 1 adorable kiddo, couple of dogs, and another on the way.
I'm still pretty damn happy and feel like I made the right decision. I'm sure you can ask me again in 10 years...but so far so good.
