Any good bank/pier fishing spots in the N.Dallas Area?

Thinking of taking the kiddo for some end of summer fishing at lake lewisville this weekend. Possibly on the Little Elm side. My main concern is getting live bait while i'm out there. Is it still flooded? Any recommendations? TIA

As for live bate I always take no less than 3 reels just for me. One of those is just a little ultralight to catch small bluegill and brim. Hook that mofo live through the top of his back. No weights just a #3 hook and free like him.

My other reel has the bluegill/Brim on it. And 3rd reel is got a large treble hook for snagging snakes and gar. When the game wardens not looking lol.
