it's not flawed... you go to a restaurant, order your meal, eat your meal, and attempt to pay with $1 coins.

If they don't accept the $1 coins, they can go fuck themselves. They're not going to make you vomit your food back up. And if they call the police, the police will laugh at them.

surely you're just arguing to argue, right?

if you take legal tender to a restaurant, order, and attempt to pay with said legal tender, you are not breaking any law.

surely you've seen the video where the kid got his car out of impound with PENNIES, right? They called the cops and the cops said they had to take it. And the impound yard had the upper hand, they had the car!!! With a restaurant, you've got the food in your gut.

        We're talking $1 coins here

Ok what would they do? Its legal tender, they have to take it. They can call the cops and bitch, but the biggest problem will be if its rolled or not.

They could even go as far as saying "payments in pesos only" and it could stand.

true... but have you been to a restaurant that says no $1 coins?

I understand what you're saying, but you were arguing with a guy and failing... and you're still failing... if you're going to rabble rabble off on a tangent, let us know so that we can quit using logic to try to converse with you

if the restaurant and the menu don't notify me of this before I order and the prices are listed in US Dollars, I'm going to assume that my $1 coins will be accepted as payment.

OK, then there is a binding agreement with the customer and the vendor there. Then true.

A restaurant has the right to refuse service to anyone, a tow-yard that has impounded your car does NOT have the right to refuse you, or your money.

banks can refuse tender as well. my brother refused 20,000 pennies the other day because he was too heavy on pennies.

That legit is flawed. You don't pay for your food at a restaurant before you eat. If you go to a business, you have not received the service yet.
