I could give shit about the man; he is meaningless. His choice of tactics is what scares me given that it is the second time this type of tactic has been employed in the past year and officers died each time. FYI: Military or former military snipers are regularly employed against U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. Here is a link to one very famous example.
It would be safe to say that half or more of ever sniper employed at every PD in the country received their training from the military.
