I pretty much only use it as a purchaser. Which is why I was in "purchaser protection" mode with my non-gift recommendation.
As a seller, insist that it's sent as a gift.

Send as Friends/Family, no mention of the sale whatsoever in the note to receiver.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. Even if sent as a Gift or friends and family, if it is funded with a debit or credit card he can still file a chargeback with the bank that backed the card.
Only way to get your cash 100% if you want to take the PayPal payment is wait till it is fully transferred to your bank. Worse thing that would happen then is your PP account would be ~$400 if he filed a charge back. Paypal can't take the money back out of your account, it would just sit negative.
