Nice dinner and flowers. If not, it's hell for me
I honestly don't get this. It's nice and all to be doted on for Valentines day, but I don't have have a set expectation of it. It's the little things through out the year that I look at, like "Hey, babe, I noticed that you're due for an oil change so I went ahead and did it for you," or letting me sleep in while he takes the kids to school.

If he wants to do something special for me, I will always be appreciative of it, but I never want him to do something out of obligation. That takes the fun and meaning out of the gesture.

Anybody sending a gift card for V-day instead of flowers? They can last forever!

mine sleeps all day, no kids to take to school, and she worships the devil.

Just FYI - It's still the same food and such. I'm pretty sure the one in Addison is still called Houston's, but it's probably too late to get a reso.

The one we go to doesn't even take reservations(preston and NW hwy). Unless the change in name also changed that policy.

Girl says: I don't need flowers.
                Guy does not get flowers.
Girl sees all her friends getting flowers and is jealous.
Girl holds grudge for at least a week.

Probably didn't change. It's still owned by the same people (Hillstone), and they also own R&D Cafe across from the one on Preston.

Yeah didn't they just change the name in certain locations? I know the one in New York changed too

My ex got some flowers from her daughter. She used that Pro Flower place and had them delivered. They were some of the nicest I have seen. But I don't buy flowers or cards.

See, that just makes home a hostile place...I want home to be a safe place.
I also don't hold out on sex when I'm angry....that just punishes ME!

                              Oh yes, yes it is.

I'm going to the bar on Valentine's Day this year, and going to swoop in on some severely disappointed whores.

That's not a bad idea at all...
