I use the same florist and they try do that shit all the time on Valentine's when I would send flowers. No flowers for Valentine's here now. Nice big box of truffles being delievered on Monday and two bottles of champagne hidden in the back of the wine fridge.

If you do flowers have them delivered on a Monday so she can have them in her office all week and show them off to all her co-workers. Winner.

It's not my valentine's gift. They jack up the price on flowers for Valentine's day and I would much rather have something that isn't going to die if you are going to spend that kind of money and he knows that.
