Ebay says the auction ended because it sold for $21k

Someone should warn the winning bidder that it's a scam

Whats worse is the Ebay ad sounds so much more professional than the real CL ad.

I think attempting to scam people online nationally falls in the FBI radar.

You may want to file a case with them on this guy.

I have run into problems buying cars on Ebay in the past. I won a 90' GTUs about 6 years ago from an eastern european in NYC, paid for it and bought a plane ticket up there to pick it up. He did not know what an S model was and dropped off the face of the earth once he found out even though he had already sent me the title. I lived in Plano at the time and the PD said that there was not a crime that they could do anything with. I filed with Ebay and they sent me a check to cover the cost of the car.

I would agree with this. In kansas no title is even required on an antique...greater than 35 years old requires nothing more than a bill of sale from owner to new purchaser. It must be inspected by Highway patrol however but that is standard practice here for out of state purchases.

So cliffnotes... not sure what he can do w/out the car but maybe it's a new scam.

This scammer/seller will be using Perez Transport to deliver the car. When the car comes up missing for the new owner, the seller will blame it on Perez Transport.

I won the auction and surprise, surprise the seller will not contact me and when I call the number in the auction I get hung up on.

At least when you tell the outlandish story of how you once bid on a sweet $100,000 Camaro and won the auction this one time but then the seller backed out and stopped answering your calls, you'll be telling the truth for once.

Did the old whiteboy ever kick anybody's ass? Just asking for stories.

And instead of putting "God Bless" after everything, I'm going to put "You fag"

There is nothing sweet about that Camaro and it is not a 100k car. I would sport an 88' IROC in white or blue but I would not touch the car in the auction.
