Yeah hook him up. Maybe a couple gift cards to some good restraunts or cabelas or something else.

Not a bad idea on the gift cards. Evidently he didn't Shaun, big no no especially with bill of sale. I will never forget the look on his face when I dropped the fact it was my car and stolen. He immediately said he wanted nothing to do with stolen property.

I mean that would be my expression and response seeing the popo in tow with you and all.

How did you show up to look at the car? did he call you or you track it down?

He was probably told it was adult owned, so he didn't do his research.

My buddy found it for sale on Craigslist, I called a FWPD officer I know and he said to go present my info to him and if it goes bad then call the police. It was way in the back of the shop, I checked to make sure the vin wasn't tampered with and asked to talk to them out side. This is when I told him the car was mine, repoted stolen and FWPD knows where it is. Told him we can work this out and I will make sure he is in the clear or we can call the cops. Either way the car is going home with me now. He didn't hesitate at all.

Ha, "you go do my job, if it doesn't work out, call me then."
I wish I could do that at my job.
