    Police have identified the suspect as 29-year-old Vincente Montano.


    The Nashville Police Department told The Huffington Post that a call came in at 1:13 p.m. with a report of a person with a weapon at Carmike 8 Cinemas in Antioch. EMS units and police are currently on the scene.

    Police engaged the suspect inside the theater where the movie Mad Max was showing. A spokesperson for the department told MSNBC the suspect had at least one gun and a hatchet, and two backpacks that are currently being investigated by authorities.

        True, I never use to carry extra mags with me. Now I always have two extra on me and started a box of ammo in the car.

              The sole reason I got my CHL was because my wife loves the Batman series and we had actually gone to opening night in IMAX the same night it happened in Aurora. Before that night I would have been a defenseless sheep. Now I have (2) 15 rnd magazines and an XD40C that I carry whenever we go to the movies or anywhere else public.

                      and the fact that some people are copy cats. corral a bunch of people in a room with essentially one way in and one way out, and turn off the lights. i dont play with guns but i can think of somethings i would do in the situation..
