So here is the story...
A week ago today, I hired Perez Transport off of Central Dispatch to take my 2015 Z06 from Corpus to Lenexa KS to Procharger. It is going to be the test mule for their new kit. It was supposed to be there Thursday of last week. On Friday the car had not arrived. I made multiple attempts to contact the owner of the trucking company on Friday and he finally responded telling me his trailer had broken down. The next contact I had with him was on Monday and he informed me the parts would be there by 2 that day. Yesterday, he told me they were putting the parts on and that the car would be delivered in the morning. I have been using ONStar to keep track of the car and it has not moved from a yard in Mesquite/Balch Springs since Friday....including up to right now. I have made several attempts to contact the owner of the company today with no response. It is located currently at the intersection of Lake June Rd and Crystal Drive about a block north of Lake June on Crystal on the right hand side of the road in what looks to be some kind of storage yard.
I know...the first response is to call the police, but I don't want a theft recovery on the CARFAX of this car if that is not the case. It's a 2015 Z06 with 1200 miles on it. It would absolutely kill the value of the car.
Need a big favor....just want someone local to swing by and just see if they can see anything going on in the yard. From Google maps you should be able to see in from the outside. If you let me know when you are there, I can even set off the alarm remotely so it will be easy to spot.
Sorry for the long post, but this is driving me up the wall as Procharger was supposed to have the car a week ago and I'm getting no response out of this guy and I'm 500 miles away.
