Anyone have an idea what a 73 Cougar XR7 Vert may go for?
I do not yet know the engine, transmission, etc. Just that it has been restored and runs/sounds great (Lyn heard it while at work)

Any Cougar aficionados wanna throw out a possible price range on these?

Yeah, I want a Vert again, and Lyn saw this at one of her jobs she was at. I'm not a Cougar guy per se, but I might be convinced if the price was right! I'd rather get an old Vert, instead of a new Stang Vert. Can't see spending $41K + on a new Stnag! Crazy prices on the 15's!

Ac can be added, the aftermarket has plenty or you could piece together factory stuff. 15K does sound about right, even though there is probably more than that in the restoration. Hopefully the interior is done, that stuff can be hard to find.


Look up the Lonestar Cougar Club on Facebook. Good group of guys there, including those
more knowledgeable on the bigger cats than I am.

Sold my '73 Mustang 'vert a few years back... kinda similar, 351C, AOD, decent paint, No A/C



Got $14K for it and that cougar looks better.
