I had charter for years. I would recommend buying your own equipment. I had great reliability after I stopped using their equipment.

I'm now stuck with Centurylink since I'm out in the country. 10/768 sucks...

I had massive problems with Charter as well when I first moved to Keller.

I went through 5 cable modems before I finally got one that worked.

Luckily, the Charter "store" is about 1 mile from the house, so we got to know the employees well. I think the issues stopped when they ran a new line because I went into my back yard and chopped up the old one and it's been great since.

The wireless boxes with Uverse? I haven't had a problem with mine.

I did have one box go out, but they replaced it a day later.

Uverse is $29.99 for the basic TV. I didnt know they'd have to run a new fiber line though.

I pay $67 a month for Charter TV. Uverse could only offer internet speed of 24MBPS, and I'm hanging around 66Mbps with charter, so I'll keep the internet. Ditching the cable will raise my internet cost by $9. Which is kinda bullshit.

I got the fight refundeded as well as a month of credited service for the bullshit 8 service I had. Successful day.

As soon as I see that credit post I'm going to get Uverse

so you haven't had a problem outside of having a problem?

Mine goes out about twice a week, sometimes more. AT&T will try to stick you with them so they don't have to run wires in your house. And because of it, if you decline them, they want to charge you extra to install what use to be a standard install.
