Anyone here an expert on security cameras?

Installing security cameras at the shop and having some issues. We already have 4 swann 700tvl cameras. We bought some 650tvl cameras that were supposed to be pretty nice, nicer than the ones we currently have, and a cheap $40 camera to move around as need be. We hook up the fancy cameras and weren't too impressed, hook up the cheap ass camera and it has better picture quality!

Are all cameras under $150 pretty much the same quality?

Any recommendations on wired cameras to purchase for under $200/each?

Netgear Arlo. Very impressed with it so far and you can add i think up to 5 cameras. Cloud access, wireless, etc.

Hikvision is the good cheap ones. Axis is a better quality but much more expensive.

I bought a cheapie Zmodo 8 camera system from Deal of the Day about 3 years ago... it works OK, but had to buys some upgraded cameras to get clear(er) images on longer range shots.

More lines TVL is usually better I thought...
