"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson, 1776

I repaired a 09 civic yesterday, the lady had neglected to have the av repaired for 2 years because she feared a huge expense. The compressor relay was bad. I verified the correct ac charge through a recovery/refill, replaced the defective relay and sent her down the road happy for $61.21.
Had a damn Dodge Ram come in because its driver side headlight didn't work. Guy has spent $400 chasing the problem and even went to the dealer and got a "I dunno, someone messed up your wires so its gonna be a few hundred to trace the problem."
I shit you not, I went to the BCM and saw the code for burnt headlight detected (which he replaced) and then cleared the code. Walla, working lights. I get told by all his friends he sends me that he drove it like that for almost 3 years. LMFAO! I didn't even charge him cause it took 3 minutes to fix. He still slipped a $50 under my cigarette pack on the counter that i didn't see until I picked up the pack.
There is enough legit work out there to not have to make crap up and rip people off.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
