I suppose I can see that. Like I said earlier, I know nothing about boats so that was just my initial reaction.

However, if it's not large enough to live out of, then it seems silly spending 20K (plus interest!) financing one for 12 years.

*nod* I had no idea about all this stuff either when I first got into boats.

I can see finances a 100K+ boat for 12, 20+ years if you can really afford it. I treated mine like a car note at 5 years.

Alright now how about the least used lakes? Lake granbury sucks, imo. I like a setting that is more natural. Not wall to wall apartment buildings and rich ass houses lining the banks.


Whitney seems to have a lot less of that going on then granbury, but its still there. Lake Travis was about like whitney, maybe a little less. Which lake has very little, or maybe even no signs of human life? I know they're out there. Some people say west TX because most of the lakes are small out there.
