Been offered a pretty good job offer and wanted to know what the cost of living and housing runs up in that area? They are flying me out on the 7th of July to look at the job, rental car, hotel, and flying me back on Friday. I would prefer to find a place on the Northeast side of the metro...Bernalillo area maybe...just wondering what I should expect to find in housing/rental property? I'm going to discuss moving expenses with them..they want me bad enough to fly me up there...seems they might want to entice me to make such a big move. Thoughts?

Don't know about Albuquerque but congrats on the opportunity - best of luck with it all.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I liked it. Go up on the mountain for a nice 30 degree temp drop. Lots of bike lanes, the food was good, no lawn to mow. They are not big fans of air conditioners though. Plus I would have another buggy and enjoy the desert. Oh and holy shit they love hot air balloons. That was THE pastime when I was up there. Get you a nice pad so I can come visit!Whos your Daddy?
