Nazi flag is more of a hate flag. I dont see the confederate flag that as a hate flag

If they ban that flag, when will there be enough support to ban the amrican flag. Afterall, our horrible country flew it as we killed multitudes of people around the world. The socialist lib nutjobs would love to see our country dismantled.

My tattoo artist who is black/Egyptian, born and raised in tx has a confederate flag tat, fairly big on his forearm. I've never taken issue with it, likely bc I am desensitized to it.

How is removing it as a state flag banning it?

The flag has to symbolize hate and the civil war has to have been all about slavery and only slavery. If you don't agree with that viewpoint then you see the civil war for what it was, the north dictating that the southern states couldn't govern themselves as the people saw fit.

Really, it's all about the meaning behind how/why the person uses it. Given his profession, he probably basis everything off of an artist's perspective. Aside from its historical use, it is really an aesthetcally pleasing design.

Which would have never gone to war until the South talking about seceding. That's when the Union took action. A lot of tax revenue and resources would be lost, not to mention competition and a,hit to the overall GDP.

Slavery freedom was just a byproduct.

Wow, at least a few of you listened in civics class. Most people think it was all about slavery. This generation has no clue what the civil war was really about
