Late to the party but optimas are complete junk these days...

My first red top lasted 7 years and was still going when I sold it in my wrangler.

Took me 2 red tops and a yellow in my beater tahoe to learn my lesson.... I have a walmart battery in there now that has outlasted all three of the optimas cumulatively.

I had to buy another battery yesterday, this time I was able to get one for right at 100.00 from advanced auto website and code TRT41 (40.00 off 100.00+) good for the rest of Sept.

I've had zero problems with the yellow tops in my F250, the Die Hards that were in there didn't like it when i took the truck off some sweet jumps! (drove off 35 thru the median onto the access road, between Waco and Austin at 60 mph, during a highway shut down from an accident)

NAPA branded batteries (sold in the last 3-ish years) are Deka/East Penn. We've had excellent results with them, especially the Legend 75.
