What these studies and these theories are really worried about is the preservation of our society in its current state. That state is unsustainable in a lot of ways.
I'm pretty sure it's only 6,000 years old, Al.

The direction in which our society has turned over the past decade is disturbing to say the least...

The current inept leadership of our Country, the out of control Muslim/Islam problem around the globe, the piss poor border control/protection of our own Country, all dictate there won't be much left worth saving or preserving around here within the next 50 years or so... and elsewhere on the planet will be worse than here.

And yet the vermin continue to multiply and propagate at an ever increasing rate.

So long Human race, it was a good ride for a while.

This is why I'm acting in a very unselfish manner by not having kids.

Live you're life to the fullest, everybody dies in the end. Don't let some, "expert writing a book to make money" rule what you do. Don't want kids, don't have them. Just don't believe all the shit you read.
The Earth's 4 billion years old, mans been here 200,000 years. We are just a brief observer here. It's not going to affect the Earth if you don't have kids, just less diversity of the gene pool
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy; Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery" ... Winston Churchill

Homicide rates around the world have dropped over 50% since 2001.

Illiteracy has dropped in half since the 1970's.

In the 1940's 300 in every 100,000 people in the world died to war, now it is less than 1 person in 100,000 people.

The amount of work hours have been halved around the world despite wages and productivity increasing.

Human life expectancy has increased more in the last 50 years than it has in the previous 200,000 years.

Child mortality is at an all time low.

But you're so right. Society because of closed minded people that have no aptitude to address and understand change continue to view the world as falling apart because kids play that rap music so loud.

Meanwhile, people are out there are making an actual difference instead of complaining their lives away.

                      Fuck you people are depressing.

No wonder we're so overpopulated. Stupid science.
