      Just do it yourself. Once a week clean the filter on the pump, do a 1-2 minute backflush, add new DE, and put 3-4 tablets in the floaty - takes 15 minutes . Check the skimmer baskets daily, and buy a pool sweeper - you can get a Hayward Pool Vac XL for $275. Keeps mine spotless.

      Once a year I call Custom Pool Care to breakdown & clean the DE filters, it's $100. The only reason I don't do that is it takes me 3 hours & half dozen fittings to get the filter housing to seal.

        I'm seeing everything locked down on that page with only one message about the trucks saying "Scammer" and under that is "Call me at XXXX" I don't see any other posts.

          Yeah since frost posted, I don't see any of the comments. They keep their page cleaner than the pools they service.

            As much hell as we give him, I would actually hire svo855 to clean my pool, if I had one.

              It's actually pretty easy to maintain one. I spend about 15 minutes a week.

                  I am sorry that you are having a bad experience with your pool service company. I do not service Mansfield and don't know who to recommend in your area.

                  Some days people are lazy or just having a rough day and will cut some corners, but doing that for weeks on end is un-excusable. I would have had my guy or myself back at you house vacuuming the pool even if it was 10pm.

                              If I had about 30-40 accounts a week I wouldn't mind getting back into it. Fairly clean easy work. Baron you probably should look into a Polaris cleaner with its own pump. Add 1 lb of shock during hot months a week with 1 tab per 10k of water.

                                For me its about an hour a week, replace the tabs, shock, scrub sides, test water every two or three weeks.
