They will contact the dealership on your behalf to check status. This may or may not make the dealership escalate the ticket.

Being that you have a Compass, I'm surprised you don't have a CVT. Most of the rentals I've seen are CVT, not the 6 speeds.
I assumed it was a CVT as well. The ONLY reason that I mention 6th gear is that when you are driving normal, the cluster reads [D]. When on the highway and it acts up, you can reach over and manually shift it into overdrive. When you do this, the cluster then reads [6].

This is not a case of accidentally using the manual shift option and forgetting to shift. Get in, put in Drive, and go. Will work perfectly fine for an hour or so. Come to a light, stop sign, etc. Then start driving again. Now it will not shift all the way and winds up to 5k at 70mph until you manually shift.

My biggest issue with the whole thing is, if you can't get it to replicate the problem, call us. Tell us. Have us come get the car. Something. Don't just say screw it and wait for us to call several times requesting updates or info before finally saying that it won't malfunction.

I should be around 630rwhp and closer to 700rwhp when i upgrade the engine internals and play with more boost.
Honestly the best builder around on those is in Edmond, OK. http://www.silverstartransmission.com/

Even Renntech just replaces the clutch packs on their SLR version, those things are pretty tough.

To the OP you have a Jatco CVT. I'd insist they check for any software updates, beyond that it could have controller problems. The unit works obviously so I doubt it's a mechanical problem with the trans.

Should have bought a real Jeep...not a Fiat in Jeep skin. Then you wouldn't have these problems.
