Most of the people that tell me they love Jamaica, love to be at the big resorts. It doesn't seem like the kind of place to get off the grid.
I've heard it can get real pushy off resorts. I'm looking at staying at the Rose Hill, but haven't booked yet. Wanted to get more information before I set it in stone.

DON! Tell your homey to hook it up when I go in August. I need the dankiest of danks.

I think there is one though! I hear they are looking for volunteers to jump off! Why don't you give them a call?

its been over 10 years since we went, but we stayed in ocho rios. Don't stay in montego bay and stay out of Kingston.

We did the dunn's river falls, which is basically a badass water fall that you walk/climb up, no real climbing though. The best thing we did there was the " no pedaling" Blue mountain bike tour. It's an all day deal , they take to you and the bikes to the top of the mountains and you ride down, stopping for lunch, dinner and to check out the shops and stuff. it also goes through the rain forest.

Good luck on the shuttle ride from the airport to the resort. lol. Pucker factor is very high.

Resorts are nice, the island as a whole is a shithole. Hit up Ricks Cafe and Dunns Fallls. Water is beautiful. Do some snorkeling-/diving

Those of you who have been on a cruise how much did you spend on drinks for the entire trip? Are the bottomless drink deals worth it at 58 per person a day? I think it's probably worth it at 6 biz a beer and probably 8 for a frozen drink

We stopped at Montego Bay on a cruise and hit Margaritaville and walked the shops. We both thought that place was a shithole. The highlight if you want to call it that was when the shuttle driver said KFC stood for "Keep from cooking", and the margaritas were stout, and walking the shops we were offered weed lots of times.
