But i still think about what it would be like if i were a surgeon.

Shit, I am getting rich now, it is just taking a while. It is fairly hard to be independently wealthy and be young. The vast majority of people in that situation inherited everything they have.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Way back when, my high school auto mechanics teacher had the right idea. He always would say "all you do is marry a rich nymphomaniac whose parents own a liquor store". Probably should have listened to him more.Last edited by 1carcrazyguy; 06-16-2015, 02:24 PM.

The existing board definition for good/GOOD money is:

ruffdaddy: $90k/$150k

Rich is also a subjective term. What numbers one thinks are not the numbers another thinks. Prior to 30, I thought that $10+mm got me an invite, with $50mm nearing FU money. Now? I just want to be sufficiently well off to travel the world and live life on my terms. I'm not sure what that number looks like yet, but I hope to at least have it figured out somewhere in the not so distant future.

I would say rich to me is maybe 250K plus a year with no expensive dependents. Enough to afford a mcmansion, second property and a few badass cars and other toys.
