All of the old unused cables above a drop ceiling must be removed before the city will give you a certificate of occupancy. The old cables are considered a fire hazard. You got 25-30 years worth of cables in most commercial properties.

And let me clarify, this is unused cable still in the box. The box comes with 600ft (I think), and there is roughly half a box left. It's at home so I can't read specifics off of it at the moment.
This is not a bunch of used shit that I ripped out of a building.
My point is that there is a ton of used cable out there right now because of the codes passed a few years ago making a small amount of it worthless. Get it now?
