That was James aka Maverick that had the "sap" issue, I believe.

I knew I shouldn't have posted this. I was rushed on the delivery.

This is when i first saw the guy, please disregard the shitty music.

This is where he catches up, tries to share a lane, i drive off and where he catches up to yell at his window...

I know exactly why he got angry. You jumped out over that solid white line and tried to pass that truck. He was going to pass, but simply was obeying the law. Right or wrong, he was hanging in there until he could pass legally, and you didnt wait your turn. That's how I see it, but I think yall both contributed a little.

I know i wasn't completely innocent. I went early and he didn't signal. Sure, I give him that and his tailgating from that moment. But to still be pissed 9+ miles later and get 'even' by brake checking and trying to push me off seems excessive.

Which is worse? Failure to signal or crossing white line.

Unless this article is wrong or outdated, it's not a fine.

The only thing I really got from watching the videos: it takes your truck a loooooong time to accelerate to 100...

If there is a sign (I didn't see if there was one there or not) that prohibits crossing the white line, then it is a fine. That would fall under "Disregarding a traffic control device", basically the same as running a red light.

Should have disengaged, slowed down and let the guy speed off. All these animalistic puffery behind the wheel just wasted 6mins of my life, flooded my ears with bad music, and puf other people on the road in danger.

The worst part of the whole thing is that I still don't even know what I did to set the guy off...I was on 35W northbound with the cruise set at 70mph, and he literally came out of no where, speeding up from behind me, I moved over to the right to let him by, and he started trying to swerve into me, worked his way over and in front of me, started brake checking, etc. Which in itself showed his level (or lack) of intelligence....Camry vs. Suburban.

My attorneys thought that it was likely a case of mistaken identity because he claimed that I ran him off the road at a location that was 5+ miles south of where I first got onto the hwy. They thought that it was possible he had a run-in with someone in a similar looking vehicle, they got well ahead of him and exited, he sped north trying to catch them, and came upon me headed the same direction, and perhaps mistook me for the other vehicle.

However there was also another theory that he was just one of those nut-jobs who has issues with people driving gas-guzzler type vehicles, because he had posted some comments on social media...something about wanting to burn all those soccer mom SUV's that are driving up our gas prices and forcing higher taxation from the govt, blah, blah, etc, etc. This was back when gas was nearing $5/gallon. Turns out he was nuttier than a squirrel turd, and that's what really got him in the end....my attorneys entered all sorts of delusional crap into evidence, that he had posted on the internet. He claimed himself as a "Social Anarchist", and had all these extreme left-winged viewpoints in several wacko libtard forums.

Another thing that didn't help him at all - I own and know guns too....when I met the cops that night at a nearby gas station, I described to them very specifically...the gun that I saw was a semi-auto, dark colored...either blue steel or black, and a mid-sized frame, but not slim like a 1911, I could tell that it had a bigger squared looking slide on it....I told them if I had to guess I'd say something like a Glock or Springfield 9mm or even possibly a 45. Well, guess what they found in his car?.....a Glock 19.

Indeed, it was nuts man. You never really know how you'll react until you're in the heat of the situation. I was about to get out of the truck and ask him what the hell his problem was, but then he came bursting out with a gun, and the thought of running him over was pretty much like auto-pilot at that point.

The whole ordeal was ridiculous....I was initially told that he was charged with deadly conduct, but apparently they couldn't make that stick and it was later reduced to something else, and he eventually ended up with basically a slap on the wrist, even though he was caught in several lies throughout the process. I do know that it ended up costing him quite a bit if nothing else, but what was absolutely crazy is that his insurance company came back a year or so later and tried to sue me in civil court for the damages to his vehicle! Of course they lost their case, and ended up paying out in a countersuit too. Just goes to show you what real slimeballs these insurance companies can be.

I only road rage on pedestrians (Eric would get that one). All jokes aside, I have calmed down a lot. I rarely use the fast lane or speed more than 5 over. I always pay attention to my upcoming merges and stay far away from agro drivers. But I am planning on getting 2 front and rear dashcams asap!

Your situation sounds like something I would watch on Liveleak.

Back in 2002 I was driving my black Fox hatch down Woodall Rodgers and this little Ford Fiesta with a soccer hooligan type was driving down the center stripe in between me and the car beside me. I looked over and shook my fist at him.

That dude went ape shit and started yelling at me in a Scottish accent - "Pull it over then, Lad! Pull IT OVER... I'll kick your fookin' ass, Mate!"

I couldn't get away from him - my clutch was all the way burnt up and wouldn't even grab while accelerating unless I was in 3rd gear... in which case his Fiesta could easily keep up with me. He kept yelling at me for like 10 miles.

I was actually heading over to Bryan Sharer's house to change the clutch out and that fucker stuck to me like glue - PULL it OVER then, MATE.. lol he looked like he just got out of the county jail and couldn't wait to get back in there..

These days I just move out of the way and let the other person be right. I figure if they are having a bad day I won't fuck with him and ruin mine in the process.
