In 1830 3,776 free blacks owned 12,907 slaves of the 2,009,043 total slaves owned in the U.S. Of those 13,000 some were family of the free blacks as well as purchased to protect them. Using this as a cornerstone to an argument to say that slavery was brought on by the black population in Africa or here is absolutely asinine.

Figured I would start a thread with pics of my African adventures. These are from a trip to check out the smugglers moving refugees to Libya. Every Monday, smugglers load up single cab Toyota pickups with water, pertol, spare parts, and roughly 30 refugees to head out to Libya. The refugees have been here in Agadez in
It was basically a human export shipping point on the furthest western tip of Africa. I was shocked to learn the small percentage of Africans who were sold/shipped to America vs Europe, Caribbean, South America. The difference is, and like you said, most places worked them to death and then for the lack of a better term, bought more.
Pretty somber place to stand was in the doorway a few feet from the ocean that was the last point of departure before getting on the ship. Point of no return. You can also see a symbolic doorway built on the island which is meant to welcome back to Africa blacks were were taken away.Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Believe it or not only about 500k-600k negro slaves were imported into the US; all of the other negro slaves were born here. That is why black Americans can trace their lineage in the states to around 1790 while whites average about 1880.
Did you know that it was common for negro slaves in the western states to own slaves of their own? They enslaved native Americans but native enslavement is never talked about when discussing slavery in the Americas.
Edit: If you take an objective view of race relations in the US today you will realize that it is simply being used as a weapon for political gain. Black leaders today for the most part do not want to "Fix" the perceived race problem in the US because that is where their power comes from.Last edited by svauto-erotic855; 03-03-2017, 09:28 AM.Magnus, I am your father.
