midlothian is still a decent town and will be for a long time imo. there were only 5-10 black people in our class of 400 or so in 2007. not to sound racist

If you look in midlo stay away from 5th street down to about the oriellys area. (Basicaly the main part of town) on the north side of 287. Southside is the better part of town. And they are building a cubic shit ton of new developments on 663/9th street.

longbranch is just your typical cookie cutter neighbor hood. south of 287 is definitely better, north of there isnt ghetto or anything its just cookie cutter type shit which isnt neccesarily a bad thing for younger families
