Also if your out in VA yet I can refer you to a couple of good repair dudes. Just allow about 20-30 extra minutes, cause you won't leave without chit-chatting for awhile.

just by the by, the DIY store mowers are not the same as the higher dollar ones. There's a difference in the two. Not saying you were making that insinuation, but I thought I would throw it out there.

No and looking at them it's CLEAR there is a difference for sure. From tires on up you can pick out a lot of differences for sure.

Just for mowing the lawn and the standard utility use that the standard homeowner does - it's not economical when on a budget.

If I ran a mowing company/landscaping I would not even consider it. At the 5K, I did hesitate for the setup cause I figured that would be the ONLY time I'd buy a tractor/mower until I was dead. I opted to have to buy 1-3 more times though due to budget. Heck if I had 3+ acres instead of just the 2 I'd probably spend it.

Well he needs to invent one that has a small cab so you can have an air conditioner, and a cabin air filter, a radio, hmm... what else...

Oh and an exhaust system that makes the engine run quieter. Then, and only then, will I mow. Otherwise its the illegal immigrant.

Man...I DID NOT want to spend the money on this thing but it's done. Ended up being too dark today but I'll start first thing in the morning.

What sucks is that I'm thinking of mowing it with my push mower first to get it down to a decent height. Right now it's mostly field weeds about waist high.

1 oz round up 2 oz 2-4D to gallon of water makes a real good weed kill on BERMUDA. Or you can buy the bootleg MSMA on craigs... I have a 50 Gallon rig if you have a big tractor and want to borrow it..

Raise the deck, grab a beer, and mow at full speed. Then lower to normal and mow it again. Thats why u have a rider.

By the way, ur gonna love that briggs v-twin. I had a 22hp on my craftsman that i mowed two acres with for six years. I downsized my lot and sold it to a buddy 5 years ago. Its still running like a top.
