Came out the next morning to three of them just standing on top of it, and the entire seat eaten down to the metal frame.
They also don't give a crap about cactus. They eat those too.

Looks like I may want to consider Husqvarna. Their top speed is up to 7.75mph while Cub Cadet is 5.5.

The reason I went with that one is my neighbor has the exact same one, but in the 46" variety. He has had it for 6+ years and beats the snot out of it with little maintenance and the thing is still going strong.
They turn tight and on most lawns with a ZT you're turning tighter, but not MUCH tighter at speed. Also, it has a decent hitch on it, I had a guy weld some angle iron on to it and I use it to pull my trailers around too (12' utility and a 22' boat trailer - dry ground/grass only though).
Otherwise I mow ~2 acres with it, use it to pull a boom sprayer...etc..etc. It's a box store mower, but for the price it'll work. Only thing that sucks is the bagger for it - sucks like all the other non-assisted ones. The JD dealer I went to had a similar mower and their bagger had a motor to help get the clippings through the chute. However, it was 5K for that mower/bagger combo.
If you're a veteran, you get 10% off at lowes or use the coupon. I bought the little brush guard for mine too and it works well for some situations - plus the wife tends to run into stuff. If stuck in a ditch can attach a winch to it...etc..etc.
The arm rests will fall apart a little after awhile though and are more of a hindrance - so I recommend not using that as a selling point.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
