Anyone have and good or bad info on this place. It looks to be a high end collision center, working on Audis, Lambos and the such. Been looking to see what's out there and they reached out to me about working there. I'm going to check it out, but wanted to see if my Dfwm family knew anything about them.

The shop itself is very small. One booth and no frame machine. Last I heard/saw they were opening up the building behind them to make that the body shop, not sure if that got done but I'm sure it did if they are still in business. Not sure about volume as they relocated there from where they were (north Dallas/Addison).Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

Only the two from the corner bldg (heading north). They must be really busy to have that many people. They had a small office, unless they have an office in the second bldg. I don't know them, but best of luck to you with everything.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

He says they have been growing. They've been in business for 9 years now. It's sounds like they've been going after the high end dealers for their collision business. Sound like he doesn't rely on insurance DRPs that much. I've made a list of questions for them. I'm going to interview them too.
Thanks Slow.

i think they are mainly audi. i heard they are where audi sends all their work, and they are audi certified. i have always been told they have work in the shop. also heard they are mainly parts changers, but if they get a deal on parts then makes up for it. all i have is second hand info.
i do not know your current demographic, but high end cars means high end customers. nine out of ten have money and have two other cars to drive, and then they do not even look at their vehicle on delivery. the one out of ten is the one that thinks his car was barret jackson perfect before he brought it in, and will turn the cunt to eleven if they are unhappy. i worked in plano for almost two years, and once or twice a month you had to deal with that person. not even a 30k a year millionaire, but sometimes a guy with money that would just pick the hell out of everything. as in the opposite side of the car would suddenly be an issue. i am talking about some silly shit. they will blow your mind with the "issues" they find.
i know most insurance appraisers do not like going there, so you know there is money to make there.

I think Audi in Plano has there work sent somewhere else. (Goodson I believe, but I could be wrong or things may have changed.)
They are a very high end shop and have been needing to move into a larger place forever. They have 2 very small buildings on one side of the street and (do or use to) have a small building in the storage lot across the street.
I got the sense that the front office sees some turnover, but you could say that about a lot of shops and there estimators.

Thanks Guys.
Believe me Jammeejamm, jerks drive all kinds of cars. I have alway taken pictures of cars as soon as they drop off to cover my ass for instances just like that. You make a great point that if insurance hates going there, then the shop must make them pay for everything and not let the insurance screw them.
Labora, one of my questions for them will be what's the tenure of their employees, that will tell you alot right there.

you and i both know that, it is just the high rent side of town blew my mind with things they complained about. one of the funnier ones was my radio volume seems move slower after the accident, and i think my xj makes more wind noise now at 90mph.
i have also worked in garland, so i have see both sides of the spectrum. sometimes i could not help but laugh when i was told i was a piece of shit for not putting both headlamps in the car to make them match.
as we all know, it is the same no matter where you go. give a little here to get a little there. unless your name is on the building, then you have to handle up and work, or quit. just make sure the money is right and your manager/supervisor actually knows what the hell he is talking about.
