Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Mine was simply a cluster having to do with getting a charge in Phoenix which was a Felony 6, then being promised that after probation it would be reduced to a misdemeanor. Judge did grant it a misdemeanor, court clerk records show it as a felony on Line Item 1 of the whole damn chronology of events of the thing, which is apparently what the better of the background check companies pluck their info from, either that or the DPS records of that state.

In Texas it woulda been a misdemeanor.

Anyway, I disputed the finding with the background check company and provided my signed order from the judge and that helped me get the job I have now.

Sometime or another I am going to check into the DPS records of Arizona and dispute their findings as well, and one of these days I might try and appear in court not only there, but in Dallas County to see if I can have some old stuff from the 90's sealed or expunged. Long shot, really.

I would like to get my rights to bear arms and vote back someday - even if I can't get that stuff expunged. It bugs me that I cannot vote.

Not that the above has anything to do with Cruz's query, but that's my story.

Is there anyway to view the courts decision online or view the signed order? This would have been from back in the late 60's.

I just saw the paper work, it looks like they just reduced the probation duration. They didn't lower it to a misdemeanor because laws were different back then.

I guess at this point there really isn't anything you can do.

Personally I think that shit should be like credit for most things. Misdemeanor drug convictions should go away after five, felony after ten. Fuck you on sexual assault and crimes against persons an property. Maybe a under 21 rule if you got caught one time when you were young and stupid, certain items could fall off after a while. Not like burglary is enhance able with priors, although maybe it should be. I mean what better incentive to do better than a clear record?

Criminal isn't my deal. Shutting down rapey truckers that suffer from extreme red ass will likely be my area of focus.

If you ever see what looks like Caitlyn Jenner jump out of a truck and charge you, it's time to break out the piece.
