Anyone spent time in Wichita Kansas?

Haha I have been looking online and yeah it seems there really isn't a damn thing to do.. Oh well the main point is to spend time with my buddy and his fiancé. I have not seen the guy in a couple years, although we talk weekly, it will be nice to kick back and have a few beers with the guy.

Any recommendations for Branson being budget friendly? I also forgot to mention we will be staying one night in brick town okc the first night on our way up. I use to go there a lot, but it's been probably 10 years since the last time I got to go.

I've spent some time in Wichita. You know how driving through suburbia every few blocks you come across another Walmart, Chilis, McDonalds and Taco Bell?

It's like that in Wichita... but the Walmart, Chilis, McDonalds, and Taco Bell are the only things there.

Accept that you will be drinking yourself to sleep at Chilis every night before you get there and you'll have a lot more fun.

To be honest, Wichita is okay, there just is not a unique thing about it. They do have a few buffalo wild wings....

Last time I was near Wichita I was stuck working in Caldwell. The only bar near me was this place so I went almost every night for a week:

They had a single quarter pool table, one kind of draft beer, cash only. Costs like $20 to buy a round for everyone crammed in there so someone would buy a round of beer and it would set off a chain reaction.
