Cedar Creek lake. Gun barrel city has a nice 4th fest every year. I think this year the music is Aaron Watson and Vanilla Ice lol. Vanilla Ice headlines it every year.

There's always tons of fireworks. You can stand on the edge of the lake and watch everyone around the lake shooting stuff off. My bud has a lakehouse out there, so I head out there on holiday weekends.

Crystal Beach and Surfside Beach tend to be a little more secluded from the Galveston traffic.

I'm hoping Panther Island Brewing decides to open up. Their brewery faces the river, about 1/4 mile from where the fireworks are launched.
