  • Vinyl shop

I'm looking to get the roof of my 2015 wrapped in gloss black vinyl. I found one place that seemed reasonable in terms of pricing. But, they don't do weekend appointments during the summer because it's car show season. It's not feasible for me to drop my car off during the week. So, I'm looking for another shop that might have some weekend availability. Any recommendations?

Check out Kinsey Sharp, Kryptonite Designs, on FB. She has a shop in the 35/635 area. she quoted me $150 to do the roof on my 335i

Fusion Signs in Hurst has always treated me well, the owner, Vi is good people. 817-282-7100.

He has a 650 gallon reef tank in the office that is worth the trip in to see.

Is that kind of like plasti-dip?

Kind of, it but holds up better to sun and branches. Finding a shop to do the work, without charging an arm and a leg might be wishful thinking though.

Definitely no bed liner. If I was going to do anything I'd dip it. But, I want smooth and glossy.

Tremor, thanks. I talked to Kinsey and I'm going to try to it done tomorrow.

Bedliner is the best option. Plasti-derp is so out and vinyl is for ricers.

If you use anything other than BL you're a lost cause.

I guess my argument to that would be that if you are honestly advocating for spraying/rolling/brushing bedliner on the roof of a brand new car, then you sir (or madam?) are a lost cause. This is not a Jeep or 4x4 truck that I'm going to be offroading in. Thanks for the input though.

Lea didn't even get the reference. This guy didn't even have a chance.

Wishful - we were just referencing a running board joke. Ignore us. Lol

No worries, I figured Vader was being sarcastic, so I responded in kind . I'm curious to find out what the running joke is. I'm off to do some searching

It's not even worth it, lol. The typical exchange is basically exactly opposite of his and mine (substitute bedliner for plasti-dip and vice versa).
